Shipping and Delivery Policy
At High Contract Interiors Limited, we aim to deliver all goods safely, efficiently, and within the agreed project timescales wherever reasonably possible.
Due to the bespoke and commercial nature of many of our products, delivery arrangements may vary depending on product type, order size, manufacturing location, and project requirements.
By placing an order with High Contract Interiors Limited, you agree to the following Shipping and Delivery Policy.
1. Delivery Methods
1.1 High Contract Interiors Limited delivers goods using:

Our own delivery vehicles and installation teams; and/or

Trusted third-party courier, pallet, freight, and specialist logistics providers.
1.2 The delivery method used will depend on:

Product size and weight;

Delivery location;

Project programme;
-
Access requirements;
-
Lead times;
-
Delivery urgency.
1.3 High Contract Interiors Limited reserves the right to select the most suitable delivery method for each order.
2. Delivery Timescales
2.1 Any delivery dates or lead times provided are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless agreed in writing.
2.2 Delivery times may be affected by:

Manufacturing lead times;

Material shortages;

Import/export delays;
-
Courier disruptions;
-
Weather conditions;
-
Traffic conditions;
-
Site readiness;
-
Events outside our reasonable control.
2.3 High Contract Interiors Limited shall not be liable for losses, costs, delays, or consequential damages caused by delayed deliveries.
3. Client Responsibilities
3.1 The Client is responsible for ensuring:

Safe and suitable delivery access;

Adequate parking and unloading space;
-
Clear access routes;
-
Lift access where required;
-
Suitable personnel available to receive goods where necessary;

The site is ready to accept delivery.
3.2 The Client must notify High Contract Interiors Limited in advance of:

Restricted access;
-
Narrow staircases or corridors;
-
Limited loading access;
-
Time-restricted delivery windows;
-
Congestion charge zones;
-
Parking suspensions;
-
Site-specific delivery requirements.
3.3 Additional charges may apply where delivery complications are not disclosed prior to dispatch.
4. Courier and Pallet Deliveries
4.1 Some deliveries may be completed using external courier or pallet delivery services.
4.2 Pallet deliveries are generally kerbside deliveries only unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4.3 The Client is responsible for disposing of pallets and packaging unless removal has been specifically included within the quotation.
4.4 Courier drivers may not be insured or authorised to carry goods inside the property.
4.5 The Client must inspect goods upon delivery before signing for them wherever possible.
5. Failed Deliveries and Re-Delivery Charges
5.1 If delivery cannot be completed due to:

No access being available;
-
Nobody present to accept delivery;
-
Site not being ready;
-
Unsafe conditions;
-
Incorrect delivery information provided by the Client;
High Contract Interiors Limited reserves the right to charge additional delivery, storage, handling, and re-delivery fees.
5.2 Any aborted installation or failed delivery caused by the Client may incur labour and transport charges.
6. Damaged or Missing Goods
6.1 The Client must inspect goods as soon as reasonably possible following delivery.
6.2 Any damage, shortages, or missing items must be reported in writing within 48 hours of delivery.
6.3 Photographic evidence may be required.
6.4 Failure to notify High Contract Interiors Limited within this timeframe may affect the ability to process claims with couriers, manufacturers, or insurers.
7. Storage
7.1 If the Client requests delayed delivery or is unable to accept goods when ready, High Contract Interiors Limited reserves the right to charge reasonable storage fees.
7.2 Goods stored by High Contract Interiors Limited or third-party warehouses remain at the Client’s risk once delivery has been attempted or storage has been agreed.
8. Risk and Ownership
8.1 Risk in the goods passes to the Client upon delivery.
8.2 Ownership of goods remains with High Contract Interiors Limited until full payment has been received and cleared in full.
9. International Deliveries
9.1 International deliveries may be subject to:

Customs checks;

Import duties;
-
Local taxes;
-
Port delays;
-
Additional courier charges.
9.2 Any import duties, customs charges, or local taxes are the responsibility of the Client unless agreed otherwise in writing.
